Rearrange the PDF page tree without rasterizing content
Create a new PDF copy with every original page in the sequence you choose. Drag thumbnail cards, use explicit First, Previous, Next, and Last controls, enter a complete page order, or apply reverse and odd-even presets.
The page tree is rearranged without rebuilding pages from screenshots, so text, vectors, images, annotations, valid internal links, bookmarks, page sizes, and rotations remain PDF content.
How to reorder PDF pages
- Choose or drop one PDF up to 32 MB with 2 to 1,000 pages and enter its password or owner password when required.
- Drag page cards, select a page and use the move controls, enter a complete order such as 3, 1-2, 6-4, or choose a preset.
- Use Undo, Redo, or Restore original until every page is in the intended position.
- Open Exact preview and move through output positions to verify the original page mapped to each one.
- Create the reordered PDF, inspect a page rendered from the actual verified output, and download the result.
Confirm every page before downloading
- Keep all page positions available immediately and load thumbnail images in batches for long PDFs.
- Use desktop drag and drop or explicit keyboard and touch controls with a clear selected-page position.
- Reject missing, duplicate, out-of-range, and unchanged page orders on both the browser and server.
- Render exact planned previews and then render page previews again from the actual generated output.
- Verify every output page against the requested source sequence with visual fingerprints and an independent parser check.
- Preserve existing user and owner credentials, encryption, and permission settings with an incremental protected-PDF update when requested.
Reorder PDF Pages FAQ
Does reordering reduce PDF quality?
No. The page tree is rearranged without rasterizing original pages, so text, vectors, and images remain PDF content.
Does preview match the download?
Yes. Planned preview maps an output position to its exact source page, and final preview is rendered from the actual verified reordered PDF.
Can a page be missing or repeated?
No. Every source page must appear exactly once. Missing, duplicate, and out-of-range pages are rejected.
Are bookmarks and links preserved?
Valid bookmarks, annotations, and internal links are retained and updated by the PDF page-tree operation.
Can a protected PDF be reordered?
Yes when the supplied password permits page assembly. If a user password opens the PDF but disallows assembly, enter its owner password.
What happens to digital signatures?
Changing page order rewrites the PDF, so existing digital signatures will no longer validate.
