Accurate PDF slides with an honest editability choice

Exact visual mode renders each selected PDF page as one full-slide image and is the safest choice when appearance matters more than editing individual elements.

Editable layout mode rebuilds supported text, detected tables, embedded images, rectangles, lines, ellipses, and freeform vector paths as separate PowerPoint objects. Unsafe custom-font text is preserved from the original page while surrounding objects stay editable.

How to convert PDF to PowerPoint

  1. Choose or drop one PDF up to 32 MB and enter its password if required.
  2. Choose Exact visual for maximum appearance fidelity or Editable layout for separate PowerPoint objects.
  3. Select pages, slide size, table detection, OCR, and the object types to recover.
  4. Move through the exact page preview and inspect editable text, fidelity text, tables, images, shapes, and visual fallbacks.
  5. Create the verified PPTX and download the presentation or the PPTX plus conversion report ZIP.

Editable tables and diagrams with controlled fidelity

  • Create real PowerPoint table objects with detected rows, columns, cell text, proportions, borders, and sampled fill colours.
  • Recover supported vector paths as editable rectangles, lines, connectors, ellipses, polylines, and freeform shapes.
  • Preserve complex scans and pages beyond safe reconstruction limits through controlled full-slide visual fallback.
  • Keep unreliable non-Latin or custom-font text visually accurate without flattening supported surrounding shapes.
  • Record the same page analysis signatures used by the preview and final presentation in a JSON report.

PDF to PowerPoint FAQ

Are tables editable in PowerPoint?

Yes in Editable layout mode. Detected rows, columns, text, proportions, borders, and sampled cell fills become a native PowerPoint table.

Are PDF shapes editable?

Supported rectangles, lines, connectors, ellipses, polylines, and freeform paths become PowerPoint vector objects. Complex clipping, gradients, masks, blend modes, and unsupported paths may use a visual fallback.

Why is some text preserved as an image?

Some PDFs store visible text with corrupt character maps or custom fonts that PowerPoint cannot reproduce reliably. Those text regions are preserved from the original page while supported tables and shapes remain editable.

Which mode has the highest visual accuracy?

Exact visual mode. Each page becomes one high-resolution slide image, so its individual elements are not editable.

Can scanned PDFs be converted?

Yes. Scanned pages remain exact visual slides. When the selected Tesseract language is installed, invisible OCR text can make the slide searchable.

Are files or passwords retained?

No. Passwords are used only for current requests and are never stored. PDF sessions and generated downloads are temporary and expire automatically.
